Give Kids A Smile

Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) provides comprehensive dental services to children in the St. Louis community through two-day dental clinics held twice each year. Children receive oral examinations, X-rays, teeth cleaning, fluoride treatments, hygiene education and additional dental treatment as needed, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and oral surgery. GKAS serves eligible children from 12 months through 14 years of age (8th grade maximum), including children who receive Medicaid or qualify for the free/reduced school lunch program. Volunteers are needed to help with patient navigation, keeping children occupied and providing education about other health related topics.
