WUMS Plus

WUMS Plus is designed to help build community for students who are navigating how to balance the demands of medical school with important relationships outside of the hospital. The group will aim to connect students who have partners/spouses who are both in and out of the medical field, as well as students who are parents too. Some goals of the group would be to help expectant parents learn about all of the medical school resources for student-parents and connect them with current student parents, connect students in new relationships and how to balance dating and medical school demands, connect families with young children to one another to build community, provide opportunities for students to hear how other students and their partners have navigated long-distance relationships, matching in different cities, being off-cycle with respect to residency applications, etc.
