Arab American Medical Student Association

The purpose of the Arab American Medical Student Association is to advocate for the interests of Arab patients and community members at the School of Medicine by advocating for policies that include them in clinical research and trainings/materials related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We are also interested in collaborating with community organizations to facilitate training of interpreters for Arabic-speaking patients in St. Louis. We furthermore aim to create community for Arab students at WUSM by hosting events that allow us to share our food and culture with each other and the wider WUSM community.
