Palliative Care Interest Group

The Palliative Care Interest Group seeks to help its members learn about an incredibly meaningful and impactful area of medicine that seeks to relieve suffering through promoting quality of life and uplifting patient and family values. However, many medical students are either unaware of what palliative care is or have misconceptions about the field. This student group aims to enhance student understanding of palliative care, educate students on career trajectories within palliative care, and overall, emphasize the importance of quality of life in providing patient-centered care.
