Get hands-on experience with pediatric and disability-focused populations, while having fun with kids who are blind or visually impaired.

If you are interested in ongoing volunteer opportunities, we host weekly and monthly groups for children of all ages (from infants and toddlers to high school students), as well as a tandem cycling team so that kids with visual impairments can experience the joy of riding a bike just like their peers.

If you are interested in one-time volunteer opportunities, we host family events throughout the year from trips to the pumpkin patch to ice skating sessions and holiday parties.

Either way, you will be making a difference for kids with visual impairments and developing skills you’ll carry into your career!

All the ways to get involved:

• Child + Youth Programs – hands-on activities, social events, and outings with kids and teens, meeting regularly throughout the school year.
• Tandem Adventurers – ride tandem bikes with children and teens on local trails.
• Vision Screening – assist screeners and support a vital community health initiative.
• Special Events – help bring family celebrations and fundraisers to life.
• Behind the Scenes – prep and logistics support that keeps programs running.
