Dementia Life STL is a community organization dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia, assisting family caregivers, and strengthening dementia care throughout the St. Louis region.

The organization offers meaningful volunteer opportunities focused on education, community outreach, companionship, and connecting families with valuable resources. Volunteers help promote compassionate, person-centered care while gaining experience working with individuals affected by dementia.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Assisting with educational programs and community outreach
• Supporting community events and initiatives
• Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities
• Participating in intergenerational engagement activities
• Connecting families with helpful resources
• Supporting staff education and community programs

Volunteer Requirements:

No previous dementia experience or specialized certifications are required. Orientation and role-specific training are provided. Background screening may be required depending on the volunteer assignment and partnering organization. CPR certification is not required for general volunteer opportunities.
