Preferred Hospice

Preferred Hospice is seeking compassionate, dependable volunteers to provide companionship, comfort, and practical support to hospice patients and their families during end-of-life care.

Volunteers may visit patients in private residences, assisted living communities, and other residential settings. Depending on individual needs, opportunities may include companionship, conversation, reading, music, caregiver respite, and other supportive activities.

Volunteer Requirements:

Volunteers must complete a background check, drug screening, hospice volunteer education, and orientation before beginning service.
