Street Med STL

Students will be trained/interviewed before volunteering with Street Med STL. If they volunteer, they will work alongside clinicians and other healthcare providers during street outreach rounds that occur every Saturday morning in encampments in downtown St. Louis. They will primarily be talking to unhoused individuals (building relationships/trust), handing out food/water/clothing, and scribing medical Notes for other clinicians. They may also assist in providing medical/wound care, but this will only be under direct supervision of licensed professionals.
