I’m a pediatric urologist who is passionate about medical education and mentorship. I’m also a wife and mother of 2 boys who spends most weekends at baseball tournaments (IYKYK).
Colleen Wallace, MD
Faculty Lead, Carl and Gerty Cori Society
Dr. Wallace grew up in central Illinois and attended the University of Notre Dame. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatrics at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She has been on the faculty of Washington University School of Medicine since that time, and she is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She has had several roles in medical education, including having been the Pediatrics Clerkship Director for 10 years. Currently she serves as the medical school’s thread director for Professional Identity Formation and co-directs Module 1: Molecules to Society, the first course students take at the medical school. She enjoys building relationships with students in the preclinical and clinical environments, as well as at society events.

When I'm not in the pediatric emergency department or diving into simulation and patient safety projects, you’ll find me chasing my kids through St. Louis parks and checking out great new restaurants with my husband.
