Evan Schwarz, MD

Dr. Schwarz grew up in Dallas, Texas, and completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. During his last year of residency, he was elected as one of the chief residents and won the residency teaching award. After residency, he completed a fellowship in Medical Toxicology at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine before returning to Saint Louis. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Medical Toxicology Fellowship Director. In addition, he is an active member and sits on several committees for the American College of Medical Toxicology, is on the editorial board of Emergency Physicians Monthly, and is a member of the board of directors for the Missouri College of Emergency Physicians.
