The annual EXPLORE Symposium in December is the primary research and scholarly conference for the medical school. All students are invited to participate. The Symposium offers an opportunity for medical students to present their work to faculty and peers, and to celebrate medical student scholarship. It entails a plenary session at which select students are invited to present their work in an oral platform format. A poster session and reception follows. Students receive feedback on their presentations and several awards are made for promise (early-phase projects) and accomplishment (late-phase projects).
This is a great opportunity for medical students to celebrate their hard work with fellow students and faculty.
