At the White Coat Ceremony, incoming students are presented with their white coats by School of Medicine faculty and join together to recite an oath they have written as a class, affirming their commitment to honesty and integrity in the practice of medicine. Each student is invited to bring up to two guests, with additional overflow seating available, and all are welcome to enjoy a light reception following the ceremony.

First-year medical students at WashU Medicine receive their white coats, taking a symbolic step into the medical profession.
