The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) is a national organization committed to advancing inclusion in medicine by promoting the health and well-being of all physicians, supporting professional and personal development, and fostering leadership and advocacy that uplift all voices in the medical profession.
Arab American Medical Student Association
The Arab American Medical Student Association is a group dedicated to promoting equitable healthcare access and cultural understanding by supporting inclusion of Arabic-speaking communities in clinical research, education, and outreach initiatives. We collaborate with community partners to improve language access, including interpreter training for Arabic-speaking patients. We also foster an inclusive campus environment by sharing the diverse food, history, and culture of Arab communities.
Asian-Pacific American Medical Student Association
The Asian-Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) is a national organization of medical and pre-medical students dedicated to advancing equitable healthcare and cultural understanding for Asian, Pacific Islander, and other historically underserved communities. APAMSA provides a collaborative forum for students to engage in education, research, and service initiatives that address health disparities and promote culturally responsive care. Through its local, regional, and national activities, APAMSA fosters leadership, professional development, and service opportunities.

The Association of Women Surgeons (AWS) group is a national organization committed to advancing inclusion in surgery by promoting the health and well-being of all individuals interested in a surgical career, supporting professional and personal development, and fostering leadership and advocacy within the field of surgery.
Christian Medical Association
The Christian Medical Association (CMA) is a student organization affiliated with the national Christian Medical & Dental Association (CMDA). CMA provides a welcoming environment for students, residents, and faculty of all faiths and belief systems to explore the relationship between faith, ethics, and the practice of medicine. Through discussions, service opportunities, and community gatherings, CMA encourages reflection on how personal values influence compassionate care.
Jewish Medical Student Association (JMSA)
The Jewish Medical Student Association (JMSA) is a student organization that fosters community, cultural understanding, and ethical reflection through programs exploring Jewish traditions and their intersections with medicine. JMSA provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff of all faiths and belief systems to engage in discussions, service, and educational events that promote mutual understanding and professional growth. Activities such as “lunch and learn” sessions and community events encourage exploration of Jewish heritage, values, and history within an inclusive campus environment.

LGBTQ MED
LGBTQ Med is a student organization dedicated to advancing education, advocacy, and inclusion related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and LGBTQ+ health. Our mission is to promote culturally responsive care through understanding of the unique health and social challenges affecting LGBTQ+ individuals and to foster sensitivity and equity in medical education and patient care. We collaborate with community organizations to support engagement and service related to LGBTQ+ health and well-being.
Medical Muslim Students Association
The Medical Muslim Students Association (MMSA) is a student organization dedicated to fostering community, cultural understanding, and service through the exploration of Islam and its intersection with medicine. MMSA seeks to provide educational opportunities and outreach that promote awareness of Muslim experiences in healthcare and contribute to inclusive, compassionate patient care. The organization welcomes participation from all students, faculty, and staff of all faiths and belief systems who wish to learn about Islamic traditions, engage in interfaith dialogue, and advance mutual respect and understanding within the medical community.

The South Asian Medical Students Association (SAMoSA) is a student organization dedicated to fostering cultural understanding, inclusion, and community through the celebration of South Asian heritage. SAMoSA hosts social, cultural, and professional events that promote awareness of South Asian traditions and contributions to medicine while encouraging cross-cultural dialogue across the campus community.
