Month-by-month checklist for intended 2026 graduates of WashU Medicine
Graduates must register to attend the all-university morning Commencement ceremony. If you receive a “You are not registered with Marching Order” message, please be sure to include your student ID along with a message to commencement@wustl.edu.

- Settle university finances
- Regalia reservation — opens in the spring; deadline is March 15, 2026. If you’d like to purchase regalia or individual regalia items, contact Rick Parker in the Bookstore at rick_parker@wustl.edu.
- Match Day – March 20, 2026
- Verify diploma mailing address in Workday
- Complete Federal Exit Counseling, AAMC MLOC tool, and 1-on-1 exit counseling session with the Office of Student Financial Planning – required for any student that borrowed federal or institutional WashU Medicine loans.

Commencement – May 14 & 15, 2026
- May 14, 9 a.m.: Doctor of Medicine Commencement Ceremony
- May 15, 9 a.m.: All-university Commencement Ceremony
- May 15, 11 a.m.: Commencement Festival
