Month-by-month checklist for intended 2026 graduates of WashU Medicine
Graduates must register to attend the all-university morning Commencement ceremony. If you receive a “You are not registered with Marching Order” message, please be sure to include your student ID along with a message to commencement@wustl.edu.
December
- File Intent to Graduate
- Confirm contact information and parent information
- Check degree requirements before scheduling spring electives
- Schedule Financial Aid Exit Interview – required for all students who received financial aid
January
- Fourth-Year Capstone Course (Weeks 41-44) begins
February
- Fourth-Year Capstone Course (Weeks 45-48) begins
- Submit Hooder Survey by February 14
March
- Settle university finances
- Match Day – March 21, 2025
- Verify diploma mailing address
- Submit Regalia Request
April
- Regalia reservation — opens in the spring; deadline is April 21, 2025. If you’d like to purchase regalia or individual regalia items, contact Rick Parker in the Bookstore at rick_parker@wustl.edu.

Commencement – May 14 & 15, 2026
- May 14, 9 a.m.: Doctor of Medicine Commencement Ceremony
- May 15, 9 a.m.: All-university Commencement Ceremony
- May 15, 11 a.m.: Commencement Festival
