Tessa Madden, MD, MPH
Faculty Lead, Joseph Erlanger and Evarts Graham Society
Dr. Madden grew up in Upstate New York. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University in New York. After residency, she completed a fellowship in family planning at Johns Hopkins during which she obtained an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is currently an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Division of Family Planning. She is active in patient care, medical education, and clinical research. Her research focuses on improving access to contraceptive services. Dr. Madden enjoys providing mentorship to medical students both as an academic society advisor and clinical researcher.
